? No tax till 2.9 lacs (this was 2.0 lacs in 2014);
? 5% tax till 5 lac (this was 10% in 2014, Majority of salaride people comes under this taxable Income bracket);
? deduction under section 80C is 1.5 lakhs (it was 1 lakh in 2014);
? Home loan deduction is 2 lakhs (was 1.5 lakhs in 2014);
? 50,000 deduction in NPS (it was zero in 2014)

Overall, From 2014-2018 we have got "Pro-Poor, Middle class friendly well Balanced Socialist Budgets".
